Terms of Service

Zapvendor is an online marketplace that connects local vendors (sellers) with buyers. We provide the platform, tools, and infrastructure — but we are not a party to transactions between vendors and buyers. Vendors are independent businesses responsible for their own products, pricing, and fulfillment.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Zapvendor. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

To sell on Zapvendor, vendors must:

• Register with a valid email address and verify it
• Provide accurate business information including name, category, and WhatsApp contact
• Maintain an active subscription to keep their store visible
• Comply with all applicable local laws and regulations
• Not list prohibited items (see Section 7)

Vendors are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings, pricing, and product descriptions.

Buyers may browse the marketplace without registration. When placing orders, buyers agree to:

• Provide accurate contact information
• Engage respectfully with vendors via WhatsApp
• Not abuse, harass, or submit fraudulent orders

Zapvendor facilitates discovery and communication between buyers and vendors. Actual transactions, payment collection, and fulfillment are handled directly between buyers and vendors (typically via WhatsApp and bank transfer). Zapvendor is not responsible for payment disputes, failed deliveries, or product quality issues arising from vendor-buyer transactions.

Vendors may purchase subscriptions to maintain active store listings and pay for featured placement on the marketplace. Subscription fees are non-refundable once a plan period has begun. Featured listing fees are non-refundable once the feature period is active. Zapvendor reserves the right to adjust pricing with 14 days' notice.

The following are strictly prohibited on Zapvendor:

• Counterfeit, stolen, or illegally obtained goods
• Weapons, ammunition, or dangerous materials
• Illegal drugs or controlled substances
• Adult or explicit content
• Financial fraud, pyramid schemes, or scam services
• Content that infringes intellectual property rights

Violations may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

Reviews submitted on Zapvendor must be honest and based on genuine experiences. Vendors may not submit fake reviews for their own stores. Defamatory, abusive, or fraudulent reviews may be removed at our discretion.

All platform content, branding, and code are the property of Zapvendor. Vendors retain ownership of their product images and descriptions but grant Zapvendor a license to display them on the platform. You may not copy, scrape, or redistribute platform content without written permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zapvendor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, failed transactions, vendor conduct, or product quality issues. Our total liability in any matter shall not exceed the subscription fees you paid in the preceding 3 months.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or cause harm to other users. Vendors may close their accounts at any time by contacting support.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then arbitration if unresolved.

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of Zapvendor after changes are published constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated to registered vendors via email.
